MPP Hogarth Applauds Area “Experience Ontario” Grant Recipients

Program supports festivals and events encouraging tourists to explore our province

ETOBICOKE – Etobicoke-Lakeshore MPP Christine Hogarth today commended Experience Ontario grant recipients in the Riding, whose organizations motivate visitors to discover our province and generate increased tourism spending.

“Etobicoke-Lakeshore has so many tourism attractions to draw visitors,” Hogarth said. “We are a friendly, diverse and welcoming community. And whenever people come to see us, they also learn that our Riding is one of the best places in Canada to live, work, start a business and raise a family.”

This year’s Experience Ontario grant recipients in Etobicoke-Lakeshore are:

• The Kingsway Business Improvement Association, for its “Taste of the Kingsway” event
• Caribbean Promotions Arts and Culture for its “International Jerk Food and Music” Festival, and
• Great White North Communications Inc., for its “GWN Dragon Boat Challenge”

“These organizations contribute so much to the rich tapestry of Etobicoke-Lakeshore,” Hogarth said. “I am honoured to represent them in the Ontario Legislature and proud to recognize them for their achievements.”
